This schedule is fixed and applies automatically to every cancellation on SarthiLink — the same rule for every student, every mentor, every time. There's no manual approval step for a standard cancellation; the refund amount is computed the moment you cancel, based on how much notice you gave.

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method through our payment processor (Razorpay). Processing typically takes 5–7 business days to reflect in your account after we initiate it, which we do immediately upon a qualifying cancellation.
If your mentor has availability, you can request a reschedule instead of cancelling — this doesn't trigger a refund at all, since the session simply moves to a new time once the mentor accepts.
SarthiLink's 15% platform fee is included in the price you see and pay upfront — it is refunded proportionally as part of whatever percentage of the session price you're owed under the schedule above.
