How UPSC mentor earnings work
SarthiLink™ pays mentors the session fee minus a transparent commission that falls as mentors grow. Explore the calculators below to see exactly what you keep at every tier — all figures come straight from our live commission policies.
There is no cost to list. SarthiLink charges no joining fee, no listing fee and no subscription — the commission is the only thing deducted, and only on sessions you actually deliver. You select a rate for each session type you offer from the bands SarthiLink™ publishes — SarthiLink™ sets the price students pay — and you decide which services and how much availability to publish. To appear in the directory you create a mentor account, verify your email and complete your profile. Verification is a separate step and is not required to be listed — mentors who have selected documents reviewed against the claims on their profile carry a Verified badge. How commissions are calculated
Every booking pays the mentor the session fee minus a commission. The commission depends on the mentor's active commission policy and tier — nothing else is deducted from what the mentor earns.
Mentor payout = Session fee − Commission. The commission is a percentage of the session fee, set by the mentor's current tier in the Commission Policy Engine.
For a ₹1,000 session at a 15% Standard commission, the mentor keeps ₹850. As a mentor progresses to a lower-commission tier, they keep more of every session.
Student platform fee. A separate 15% platform fee is paid by the student and shown separately at checkout. It is never subtracted from mentor earnings.
