This Account Suspension Policy explains when SarthiLink may temporarily or indefinitely restrict a Student or mentor account, listing, booking capability, payout access, or other platform feature. It applies with the Platform Terms and role-specific terms.
SarthiLink may suspend an account where we reasonably believe that the user has breached platform terms, policies, applicable law, safety standards, payment rules, intellectual property rights, privacy obligations, or trust and safety expectations.
A suspension may be temporary while SarthiLink investigates, waits for documents, reviews payment status, or protects users. A suspension may be indefinite where the risk is serious, unresolved, repeated, or where the user does not provide information needed to restore access.
During suspension, a user may be unable to sign in, book sessions, accept bookings, edit listings, message other users, receive reviews, access Google Meet links, or use selected platform features. Some limited access may remain available for legal notices, support, data requests, tax records, or appeal handling.
SarthiLink may cancel, pause, reschedule, or review active bookings connected with a suspended account. Student refund eligibility and mentor payout outcomes will depend on the facts, applicable terms, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If a mentor account is suspended, SarthiLink may hold unpaid payouts while reviewing fraud, safety, tax, chargeback, refund, no-show, or policy issues. Eligible amounts may be released after deductions, adjustments, or legal withholding where permitted by the Payment & Payout Policy.
Where reasonable and legally permitted, SarthiLink will provide notice of suspension and a brief reason. Notice may be limited or delayed where disclosure could compromise safety, fraud prevention, investigation, legal compliance, platform security, or another user's privacy.
A user may appeal by writing to support@sarthilink.com with the account email, relevant booking references, explanation, and supporting evidence. SarthiLink may ask for additional information and may uphold, modify, or lift the suspension.
Suspension is different from account termination. A suspended account may later be restored, restricted, converted into indefinite suspension, or terminated depending on the investigation and applicable terms. See the Account Termination Policy.
SarthiLink may retain account, booking, payment, verification, support, and dispute records during suspension for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax, dispute handling, and platform integrity purposes. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Suspension-related complaints involving unlawful content, privacy, or statutory grievance handling may be escalated to grievance@sarthilink.com under the Grievance Redressal Policy.
SarthiLink may update this Policy to respond to marketplace risks, legal requirements, payment partner rules, or safety expectations. The version shown at the top of this page identifies the current policy text.
